my favorite car in berkeley

This car has been around for ages.  It has always looked so delightful to me.  I have never seen it moving, only parked within the same block near MLK and Cedar Street.  The garage opposite the car has a matching paint job.

OMGosh, my old neighborhood! This car is associated with a guitar repair/resale place Kurt used to drag me into. I don't know if the business is still around, but good to see the car is aging well :-).

That’s one interesting paint job! I wonder who owned this and why it was stopped being driven. I love the vintage rims there. I also wonder if this car is still there years later. Hopefully someone has snapped this up and got rid of the rust, dirt, and other marks of deterioration.

Whoa, talk about awesome vintage cars! I love that the front and rear passenger doors open away from each other instead the same way. I’m glad that whoever once owned this car didn’t change that. That’s definitely a classic design right there!
